Forsaken Font for Clearer Campaign Messaging

I was knee-deep in designing a product launch campaign for a new line of eco-friendly skincare, and I needed something that would cut through the noise. The client wanted a friendly yet professional vibe, and I knew the right font could make or break the visual message. That’s when I landed on Forsaken.

Forsaken is a simple, sans serif handwritten typeface with a clean and minimal design. It feels approachable without being too casual, which made it perfect for this project. The character shapes are smooth and modern, giving it a fresh look that blends well with both digital and print formats.

As I worked through the campaign visuals, I found that Forsaken added a subtle human touch to otherwise sterile designs. It wasn’t too ornate, so it didn’t distract from the key message, but it had enough personality to stand out in fast-scrolling feeds and small thumbnails.

For the Instagram posts, I used Forsaken for headlines and callouts. It read well even at smaller sizes, which was crucial since most users would be viewing the content on mobile. I paired it with a clean sans serif for body text, ensuring that the hierarchy remained clear and the message was easy to digest.

When creating Pinterest pins for the campaign, I leaned into the slightly organic feel of Forsaken. It complemented the natural ingredients theme and helped create a cohesive brand identity across all assets. The font also worked well on dark backgrounds, which I used for some of the more dramatic teaser images.

YouTube thumbnail designs required quick readability, and Forsaken delivered. I tested several fonts before settling on this one, and it consistently performed best in A/B tests. The letterforms were distinct enough to be recognizable at a glance, which is essential for driving clicks.

In the email banners, I used Forsaken for subject lines and promotional headers. Its simplicity helped keep the focus on the offer while still maintaining a warm, inviting tone. I also used it for quote graphics that highlighted customer testimonials, adding a personal touch to the campaign.

One of the most important aspects of using Forsaken was its versatility. It worked equally well as a display font for large headlines and as supporting typography in smaller elements like buttons and labels. This flexibility made it an ideal choice for a multi-channel campaign where consistency was key.

I checked the font specs carefully before finalizing the design. Forsaken comes with a range of styles and weights, though I primarily used the regular weight for most assets. The file formats supported web and print use, and the commercial license allowed me to use it freely in the campaign without any legal concerns.

Font pairing was another consideration. I experimented with different combinations, but the best results came from pairing Forsaken with a modern sans serif like Montserrat or Helvetica Neue. This created a balanced contrast between the handwritten feel and the clean, structured text.

Readability on mobile screens was a top priority, and Forsaken handled that well. Even when scaled down, the letters remained legible and didn’t lose their shape. This was especially important for social media previews and ad thumbnails, where every detail matters.

For the landing page header, I used Forsaken to create a strong first impression. The font’s minimalism allowed the headline to breathe, making it easier for visitors to absorb the main message quickly. I also used it in the hero section for a few short, impactful phrases that reinforced the campaign’s core message.

The campaign launched successfully, and I received positive feedback on the visual consistency and clarity of the messaging. While many factors contribute to a successful campaign, I believe the choice of Forsaken played a significant role in how the message was received and remembered by the audience.

If you're working on a campaign that needs a font that's both friendly and professional, Forsaken might just be the one you’re looking for. Whether it's for social media posts, website banners, or promotional emails, this typeface brings a unique energy that can elevate your design work without overpowering the message.
